Golf Lessons dead aimFor more than 30 years, we have provided countless golf lessons for beginners and have been teaching golf to experienced golfers.

Our golf lessons are relaxed, enjoyable and fun.

We believe in establishing solid fundamentals in the following areas: Grip, Stance & Ball Position.

With these essentials in place, our students are freed up to use their own unique swing. This method produces instant results and makes the game more enjoyable.

We cover the following areas of the game:

Driving

Driving the ball is perhaps the most important element of a competitive golf game. There is nothing like hitting a solid drive in the fairway in front of your foursome. Adversely, struggling to hit the ball solid and in the fairway can make for a very frustrating day on the course. We'll cover the fundamental techniques designed to get you to hit more fairways.

Fairway Woods

Beginning golfers, and especially juniors and ladies will use their fairway woods often. This swing is different from a driver swing, and also different from an iron swing. We'll cover a few tips that can get you hitting the fairway woods consistently.

Irons

Hitting greens in regulation requires being able to hit good iron shots. Great ball strikers hit the ball first, and their divot is made in front of the ball. A lot of golfers that struggle with hitting their irons will have a divot behind the ball. We show you how to strike your irons solidly, while compressing the ball.

Wedge Play

Other than putting, you will use your wedges more often than any other club in the bag. This is often not a full shot, which means that you need to have complete control over the wedge swing. There are a number of shots to be covered here: lob shots, knock down, open face, closed face, sand shots, chipping and others with funny names. Improving your wedge game will bring your scores down in a dramatic way.

Putting

So simple, yet so difficult. This is the one area where players can shave several strokes off their score. Putting does allow for unique clubs and unique styles, but you must be able to repeat a consistent stroke under all conditions.

Strategy

Establishing a simple strategy before your round can make a huge difference in your score. Just like a pro sports team has a gameplan, putting a simple plan in place will keep you engaged and focused during your round.

Course Management

You need to know how to play different holes based on your normal ball flight, wind and weather conditions, hazards and more. When do you shoot at a pin or aim for the middle of the green. Spend less time in the woods and more time on the fairways. Give yourself better chances at saving par even of you have hit a bad shot.

Equipment

Using equipment that fits your body type, skill level and budget can be a challenge. We can help steer you in the right direction. As a golfing family of four, I understand working within a budget and help you make smart purchasing decisions.
